Maine Educational Opportunity Center

MEOC is a federally funded college access program for adults who want to go to college.

Counselors meet with participants in individual and group settings to talk about: self-awareness, college options, career exploration, financial aid, loan default, and study skills. They can help college applicants complete financial aid and admission forms.

Most participants are:

  • 19 and over, or no longer in high school, and a resident of Maine;
  • facing barriers to higher education; and
  • hoping to be the first in their family to earn a four-year college degree.

For more information or to register for these FREE services, please call: 1-800-281-3703
