Maine Educational Opportunity Center

MEOC is a federally funded college program for adults who want to go to college.

Counselors meet with participants in individual and group settings to talk about: self-awareness, college options, career exploration, financial aid, loan default, study skills, completing financial aid and admission forms.

Participants must be:

• 19 and over and a resident of Maine;
• facing barriers to higher education and meet income guidelines; and/or
• the first in their family to earn a four-year college degree.
