MEJP Welcomes New Staff Member!

Robyn Merrill photoMaine Equal Justice is pleased to welcome Robyn Merrill on staff. As MEJP’s new policy analyst, Robyn will be working closely with Chris Hastedt and Ana Hicks, learning the ropes of administrative and legislative advocacy. She will be using her attorney training on litigation matters as well, working from time to time with Jack Comart, our Litigation Director.

Graduating from University of Maine School of Law in 2008, Robyn recently completed a one-year clerkship with the Maine Superior Court. She also has a background in social work, having earned a Masters degree from the University of New England in 2004. Robyn is delighted to be at MEJP – and we are thrilled to have her join our staff. She says,

“I feel like I have found my dream job, where I can put my training and passion for both the law and social work together, helping to shape public policies that work for Maine people. I look forward to getting to know MAIN members and working together for positive change.”

Welcome, Robyn!
