Let your voice be heard in Augusta and Washington!
Our state and federal elected officials make decisions everyday that affect our lives. Their decisions affect the price of milk and gasoline, the funding
of safety-net programs that help in hard times, access to health care, job creation and so much more. They need to hear from us, the taxpayers, about
how their decisions will hurt or help us.
Your voice counts! Your legislators want to hear from YOU!
Take a minute now to find out who your elected officials are so when you want to contact them to tell them what you think, you’ll be ready.
Here’s how to find the names and contact information for your state and federal elected officials:
1. Contact your Town Office or City Hall, or
2. Go to www.congress.org
Enter your zip code in the space on the left (under "My Elected Officials") and click ‘go’.
Some zip codes have more than one state representative and/or senator. If you live in one of these areas, follow the directions given on this website
to find your state legislators.
All of the legislators have email addresses and home phone numbers which you can find on the www.congress.org website (see above).
