MAIN Proposed By-Laws
MAIN members decided in the spring of this year to update the organization’s by-laws that were written in 1980. A committee was formed to bring the by-laws more in line with how MAIN has actually been working. The really new change is in leadership. More positions were created in order to get more people involved — a good thing, we think! In general, MAIN makes decisions by consensus with all members present at meetings.
These proposed by-laws will be voted on at the MAIN Conference on Saturday, October 14, 2006.
