What’s happening...
Northern Regional MAIN

Since March, ten or more of us have met to share lunch and talk about things that are important to us - health care, TANF, fuel assistance, tenants’ rights, and Medicare Part D. A Maine Equal Justice staff person gave updates on legislation, answered questions and told us about resources.

The group decided that since many of us are renters, we’re interested in learning more about tenants’ rights. We plan to invite Pine Tree Legal Assistance to do a mini-workshop this summer. We also want to register voters and share info about TABOR before November 8th, Election Day.

We hope you will join us some Saturday to share food, friendship and your concerns, and to get involved! Our next potluck & action meetings are:
